Fashion brand Jofama acquired by Trendmark
Gothenburg-based Trendmark AB, with extensive experience in marketing and representing carefully selected, world-leading clothing and footwear brands, has today entered into an agreement to acquire the prestigious fashion brand Jofama, founded in 1926. Trendmark will continue to operate the business in the same spirit to ensure Jofama's strengths in design, fit, and quality. This is to maintain the strong customer satisfaction that the brand enjoys among both retail customers and end consumers.
Jofama is a Swedish brand that designs, markets, and sells sustainable fashion in both leather and textiles. The company is most renowned for its timeless leather jackets and creative collaborations with influencers such as Kenza Zouiten, Lars Wallin, Efva Attling, and Måns Zelmerlöw. Jofama's products are sold through both their own channels and retailers.
The sales for A/W-20 are in full swing, and there is a growing interest in the brand. Simultaneously, an exciting collection for S/S-21 is being developed, including various leather garments and continued advancements in textile offerings. Sustainability is a key focus, with initiatives such as vegetable-tanned leather, heat-insulating linings made from recycled plastics, and textile garments treated with "Bionic Eco Finish" – nature's own way of repelling moisture.
Weibull M&A served as the advisor to Jofama AB in the sale.
