Consentio Leadership is acquired by KB18.

Weibull M&A acted as the seller's advisor when KB18 acquired the education company Consentio Ledarskap AB.

Consentio provides leadership training programs throughout the country from its bases in Kristianstad and Örebro. The company was founded in 1998 by four colleagues from the Swedish Armed Forces educational activities, where they worked together for several years in leadership development, training, and group processes within the officer training program. In 2016, Consentio had a turnover of approximately 17 million SEK with good profits.

KB18 is a small investment company, also with a military background, that acquires, manages, and develops small and medium-sized businesses. The idea is to be a long-term investor with an active ownership role. Consentio Ledarskap is KB18's fourth acquisition, as they already own Emmlight AB, Watt&VEKE AB, and AB Svensk Formteknik. The goal is to acquire more quality Swedish companies that KB18 can contribute to developing.

Stefan Wikström, a partner at KB18 with a background as a principal and quality manager at NTI Gymnasiet and IT-gymnasiet, will assume the position of CEO on February 1. Current CEO Dick Lager will continue as Vice CEO and site manager in Örebro. One of the founders, Jesper Andersson, has purchased 9 percent of the company on the same terms as KB18. He, along with the previous owners Tony Månsson, Ulf Lundgren, and Anders Ramberg, will continue in the company with sales and as trainers.

-"Knowledge, leadership, and development processes are important success factors in modern society. We are proud to take over such a fine and high-quality entrepreneurial company that has established a strong presence in an industry with a promising future. The sellers will remain in the company, and together with the expertise that we at KB18 can contribute, we see great opportunities for Consentio to become a much larger company in its industry," says Stefan Wikström, incoming CEO and partner at KB18.
