Consolid Equity acquires Håkantorps Däck AB
Consolid Equity, through Road Mobility Services (RMS), expands its operations in southern Sweden with the acquisition of Håkantorps Däck AB. Weibull M&A has acted as advisor to the seller.
Håkantorps Däck is a prominent player in the tire industry with workshops in five locations in southern Sweden. The acquisition strengthens RMS' presence and capacity in the region. Håkantorps Däck, founded in 1929, is a family business with operations in Hässleholm, Staffanstorp, Löddeköpinge, Tomelilla and Åstorp. The tire workshops have a combined turnover of just over SEK 85 million. The seller, Peter Holmberg is the third generation of the family and started in the company in 1990 before taking over the tire business completely in 2001. The company has built up a strong reputation for its expertise and reliability in tire service, from the small to the large tire.
