Optonyx AB acquired by Hugo Tillquist AB
Weibull M&A acted as sell side advisor when Hugo Tillquist AB acquired Optonyx AB.
Optonyx is a Stockholm-based distributor of state-of-the-art industry components and sub systems within the photonics area. The company is the Nordic partner of world leading suppliers such as WZW Optic, Lasos, Semrock and Carl Zeiss Spectroscopy. It has a strong focus on OEM customers and tailored client solutions and components and add value through technically competent advisory and support.
Optonyx will persist as a trade mark and subsidiary within the Hugo Tillquist Group, and founders Per Almberg and Urban Konradsson Botes will continue working in the company. The acquisition will add a new, attractive and growing product segment to Hugo Tillquist, complementing the current portfolio and bring synergies to the group.
