Kraftringen acquires Elkraftsbyggarna
Weibull M&A acted as a sell side advisor when Kraftringen Service AB acquired Elkraftsbyggarna Kraft I Götaland AB from Kryss Invest AB. Kraftringen will now become a stronger competitor in the market of construction and service of power distribution grids in southern Sweden.
Elkraftsbyggarna (EKB) was founded in 1999 and works with construction and service of power distribution grids and switchgears. The company had revenues of about 200 MSEK and about 50 employees at the time of the acquisition. EKB is a thriving company that is experiencing strong growth in an attractive industry.
Kraftringen is an energy company, owned by the municipalities of Lund, Eslöv, Hörby and Lomma, with over 300 000 energy customers and about 300 employees. Kraftringen Service AB delivers, as part of Kraftringen Energi, technical services in electricity, energy and communication that contribute to the development of a sustainable society.
