Midroc Automation acquires IT Automation in Malmö
Weibull M&A was the sell-side advisor when IT Automation was acquired by Midroc Automation. IT Automation is an innovative automation company with long experience from IT- and automation solutions for process industries such as food industry, pharmaceutical, power/heating and water and sewerage industries. The customer base is primarily from the Scandinavian countries, but the company also has customers from several other European countries. IT Automation was founded in 2004 and is located in Malmö.
IT Automation focuses on solutions and systems from ABB and is today a Premium Value Provider and a Preferred Supplier to ABB. IT Automation is located in a growth region and has a high level of technical competence in systems where Midroc Automation has long wanted to strengthen itself. Hence, the acquisition is completely in line with the strategy of Midroc Automation.
